The Historic Colorado River Museum
Colorado River Museum is located on highway 95 to the north of Laughlin Bridge at Davis Camp. The building where the museum is presently located was built in 1947 to serve as residence for workers who were building Davis Dam. The museum is running under the aegis of the Colorado River Historical Society which is a nonprofit organization. Tourists on a visit to the Colorado River Museum will definitely find all sorts of interesting displays, memorabilia as well as artifacts pertaining to the Tri-State area.
The Colorado River Museum boasts of an intriguing collection dating back to the times when gold and silver mining was flourishing particularly in and around Laughlin.
Visitors also get a first hand experience about the unique cultures and history of the native tribes and the ranching industry that flourished in the past.
Visitors are greeted at the entrance by the statue of Laughlin's founding father, Don Laughlin.
